Lunch and Learn: Impacts of the 2023 Legislative Session on Business—June 28

Join the Bend Chamber and two of our key strategic partners to discuss the 2023 legislative session, including wins (and losses) and what’s up next in Salem. You’ll learn about the fate of legislation related to workforce housing, economic development, and other business issues.

Related to housing, the panel will discuss:

  • The implementation process of HB 2001
  • Impacts that we will see from HB 2981 and HB 3414
  • How the Governors Housing Production Advisory Council operates

The economic development portion of the discussion will focus on:

  • The SB 4 CHIPS Act implementation and bills related to the Research & Development Tax credits
  • Enterprise Zones
  • Other incentives to support economic growth in Central Oregon
