Esteemed Physician Brings Decades of Expertise in Addiction Medicine and Chronic Pain Management to Serenity Lane 

Serenity Lane, a leading addiction treatment center, is proud to announce the appointment of Dr. Michael Carnevale as its new Medical Director. Dr. Carnevale brings with him decades of experience in addiction medicine, chronic pain management, and a proven track record of compassionate patient care, making him an invaluable addition to the Serenity Lane team. 

Originally from suburban Los Angeles, Dr. Carnevale’s educational journey began at the University of California, Irvine, where he studied biology and psychology. He then attended medical school at the University of North Texas/Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. Upon completing his residency at Los Angeles County/University of Southern California, Dr. Carnevale accepted a position as a staff physician with the Mendocino Community Health Clinic, where he eventually served as Medical Director for 16 years. 

It was during his time at Mendocino Community Health Clinic that Dr. Carnevale developed a deep interest in addiction medicine. He gained extensive experience treating alcohol-related disorders on both an inpatient and outpatient basis, and learned first-hand about the challenges faced by patients with opioid dependency and opioid use disorders. 

Dr. Carnevale is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Addiction Medicine, underscoring his extensive expertise in these fields. His years of experience in leadership, administration, and direct patient care will significantly enhance the services provided by Serenity Lane, benefiting both patients and staff.
