The City of Bend is now accepting applications from design professionals to have their ADU designs selected for use as part of the City’s Pre-Approved ADU Plan Program. Selected and permitted designs will be listed in the City’s online library of plans.

The City of Bend recognizes ADUs as an integral part of the housing continuum. Due to the nature of size, design, and location in neighborhoods with existing infrastructure and community, ADUs are a common choice home for smaller middle-income households and continue to fill the gap in much-needed workforce housing. This Program is an opportunity for us to partner with designers and design build professionals in providing our community with permitting processes that save time and money in jump-starting the homeowner’s ADU project.
