Published on Aug 24, 2022

The application process for Hardhat in Hand is now closed. If you have questions regarding future cohorts, please reach out to Fortis Construction at hardhatinhand@fortisconstruction.com

Are you interested in joining the construction trades and helping construct critical infrastructure? Take a look at Meta’s Hardhat in Hand, an eight-week, paid construction training program. Successful completion of this program is a stepping stone to a career pathway and apprenticeship in the construction industry. Training runs from September 26-November 18 and includes four weeks of classroom experience and four weeks of onsite training at Meta’s Prineville Data Center.

Participants receive fundamental knowledge relevant to all construction trade occupations with opportunities to earn essential construction certifications and full-time employment or apprenticeship upon successful completion of the program.

Applications are open now through August 26, and selected candidates will interview with our general contractor, Fortis Construction, and Central Oregon Community College on August 31 and September 1. We will also be holding a virtual information session to learn more about the program on September 29; all applicants will receive further details.
