As travel continues to open back up, properties such as Tetherow Resort are beginning to reinvigorate their teams. The new hires of Nick OrRico as General Manager and Carrie Ramoz, Marketing Manager, bring a wealth of experience to their roles and are a positive sign of the travel industry’s recovery.
Indiana native Nick OrRico joins the Tetherow team as General Manager. A graduate from Roosevelt University, Nick brings more than 14 years of hospitality experience to the Tetherow team, having most recently worked as resort manager at San Diego’s iconic Hotel del Coronado. He spent nearly ten years prior with the Fairmont Hotels & Resorts in various destinations around the US.
No stranger to the property, longtime local and University of Oregon graduate Carrie Ramoz re-joins the company as Marketing Manager after a three-year hiatus. Prior to her return, Ramoz served as Marketing Director for William Smith Properties and the Old Mill District. She brings more than 10 years of marketing experience in the hospitality arena and business development.
“It’s been a pivotal move for us to add Nick and Carrie, and to further expand our team’s capabilities, experience, and bandwidth in the process,” says Chris van der Velde, Tetherow Resort’s managing partner. “They are both incredibly seasoned in their roles. As travel begins to ramp back up, these roles are crucial as we position ourselves moving into our peak season and beyond.”
