To give you a taste of her upcoming session, Swivel did a quick Q &A session to get to know her and what she’ll be speaking about:

Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself, your background and clients you’ve worked with. How did you get to where you’re at?

A: I started my career in digital marketing in 2008, but my experience in marketing dates back to 2001. Throughout my career, I have focused on helping brands improve their online visibility—whether that was doing the implementation myself or managing a team of writers and technical SEO analysts. Currently I am the director of training at Bruce Clay, Inc. where I teach the SEOToolSet® training courses. To date, I have taught hundreds of individuals from small businesses to large publicly traded companies.

Q: Who should be attending your session and why? (Is this just for beginners or if you’re an intermediate to advanced SEO, will you get much from this?)

A: My session will have a little bit for everyone, from beginners to those who are more advanced in SEM/SEO. I will be diving into the relationship between social and search and how brands can connect with the right audience. Any time I give a presentation, I make it my goal for the audience to walk away with at least one “golden nugget” of information they hadn’t heard before.

Q: What are some of the primary take-aways and how-to’s we’ll get from your session?

A: My session will be filled with tips, resources and tools to help companies win at both SEO and social. Plus, I will be providing many examples of how other brands have successfully blended their search and social strategies. People will walk away from my session with a mix of strategic and tactical advice that they can implement right away.
