Empty Bowls is back, live and in-person! Supporting NeighborImpact and its Food Program, First Interstate Banks‘ Empty Bowls fundraising event, presented by Windermere Central Oregon Real Estate and Cascade Natural Gas, will take place on October 30, 2022, at the Central Oregon Community College Campus Center. Event guests will receive a beautifully handcrafted bowl made by local potters as well as gourmet soup made by Cascade Culinary Institute students, artisan bread from Big Ed’s Bread and Sister’s Bakery, beverages, and dessert. Guests will enjoy a relaxed dining experience and the music of a local band, “Evergrow.”

Empty Bowls is an internationally recognized event that raises awareness of hunger and food insecurity. Attendees keep their handcrafted bowls as a reminder of the thousands of bowls that remain empty every day in Central Oregon.

First Interstate Bank and its Foundation are committed to supporting our communities through charitable giving. Funds raised from the local event support NeighborImpact and its Food Assistance program, which distributes 323,000 pounds of food and feeds 52,000 Central Oregonians every month.
