Central Oregon Economic Indicators – March 2019 Edition

Key takeaways from this month’s indicators are:

  • All three counties saw a slight year-over-year upward edging of their unemployment rates.
  • All three counties experienced year-over-year growth in their total nonfarm employment levels.
  • This edition’s Graph of the Month:  Employer-proved benefits data is really difficult to come by, so we sent out our very own survey to better capture the benefits offered to working Oregonians, and how those benefits differ by employer size, sector, region, and many more factors. Take a look at this month’s indicators for one piece of the findings, paired with a hyperlink to the original report!

As always, please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about the local economy, or have a need for custom economic analysis.
