Uber Central Oregon Ceremonial First Ride with the Bend and Redmond Mayors

To mark Uber’s official launch in Central Oregon this week, a new local Uber driver–Betsy Littlefield, a long-time Bend resident and volunteer with Mt. Bachelor National Ski Patrol–will give a ceremonial first ride to Casey Roats and George Endicott, the mayors of Bend and Redmond. The ceremonial first ride will start and end at the Deschutes Brewery Bend Public House in downtown Bend.


Uber will officially launch service for the first time in Bend, Redmond and Sisters and the surrounding area at 10 a.m. on Thursday, 5/4. In addition to Mayors Roats and Endicott and Ms. Littlefield, Uber operations staff will be on hand during the ceremonial first ride and available for comment.     I drive for uber in Portland now but live in central Oregon. Where do I sign up at to start driving in central Oregon. Can’t get a hold of anyone at uber.
