Session Sponsor: Cross Dot Digital & Creative Agency
For this session of What’s Brewing, our panel will share thoughts and ideas on how they are supporting diverse and inclusive environments in their organizations and advocating for advancing women. We’ll also discuss the role of allies within the workplace and how important it is to have both female and male allies.
Of course, challenges for advancing women still exist: lack of affordable and available child care (an obstacle the Bend Chamber is in the process of trying to remove), returning to the workforce after having children, biases in male-dominated industries, for example.
The goal is to share our panelists’ real life experiences working through the issues within their roles and organizations, ultimately generating ideas, sparking meaningful conversations and providing resources to help address and overcome the barriers. Come and be part of the discussion!
This is NOT a women-only event… men should participate as well!
Don’t worry about any bugs going around, we’ll have hand sanitizer on site and there are restrooms right off the main gathering area for washing hands.
