Doors open at 5:00 p.m. | Program starts at 5:30 p.m.
Join us as Oregon Bio and Bend Chamber team up for our first joint in-person event since early 2019. Our evening will include open networking, panelists from the Central Oregon bioscience industry, and an introduction to the just released 2022 Economic Impact Report from the Oregon Bioscience Association.
Bioscience firms continue to thrive and expand in Central Oregon — further diversifying the region’s economy. Educational-related investments like the newly minted Edward J. Ray Hall and the upcoming Innovation District at OSU Cascades signal a new phase for Bend’s science-based infrastructure. What other factors will generate new bioscience activity in the area? How can Bend leverage its strength to grow the life sciences sector in the coming years?
Before and after our speakers, we’ll have plenty of time for networking — plus bites and beverages. Beverages will be provided, including beer from Deschutes Brewery and cider from AVID Cider, as well as appetizers from OSU-Cascades.
