The purpose of the Leadership Bend Impact Summit (LBIS) is to empower nonprofits to strengthen our local communities. After a rigorous selection process, LBIS finalists  participated in a series of strategic business planning workshops. These workshops, facilitated by local non-profit and business leaders, focused on several key areas including Strategic Planning and Finance, Leadership and Governance, Marketing and “Pitch” coaching.

Five finalists have been chosen to pitch their strategic business plan concept at the May 11 LBIS event “Pitch for a Purpose” at the Hampton Inn. This event is an opportunity to increase a non-profit organization’s exposure, and compete for a cash prize of $10,000 intended to enhance the organization’s capacity to execute its strategic business plan.

The five finalists are:

Campfire Central Oregon
Deschutes Children’s Foundation
Healthy Beginnings
Human Dignity Coalition
Oregon Adaptive Sports

Your vote counts! Audience voting via phone the night of the event will determine a second cash prize of $1,500 for a favorite nonprofit.
