Calling all remote workers! Our business community is thrilled you have made Central Oregon your preferred office space! We are a resource for professional & personal development, and happy to get you plugged in to our thriving business ecosystem.

Come to our next What’s Brewing where it will be all about you… the remote worker. Expand your local clan, engage with local organizations and resources, and get dialed-in!

Tell us what you need, and we’ll align you with the right resource. Interested in advocacy, connections, or leadership development? No problem. Come to What’s Brewing. How about economic development? Got that covered, too. Need a mentor or peer group to join? Come to What’s Brewing. Do you need a co-working space? Come to What’s Brewing!

This will be a fun, engaging and interactive gathering, including food and a tasty beverage. So drop the “remote,” find out what makes the Bend business community so collaborative and vibrant, and how you can be a part of it!

Parking at 10 Barrel:
There is additional parking north of the Pub building, as well as across the street, and along the shoulders of 18th St. But make sure you leave enough room near driveways for large truck deliveries. Do not park in “No Parking” or “Loading Dock” areas as your vehicle will be towed without prior warning.

If you are in business call Janie at Fatbeam! The real deal!

  2. Karen says:

Bend Chamber offers health insurance to companies with two or more employees, yet so many remote workers are self employed. It would be nice if individuals could get health insurance through Chamber too.

  3. Janie Moore says:

    Hi Philip,

My name is Janie Moore and I work for the fiber company here in Bend called Fatbeam. We build dedicated fiber networks to service Business Enterprise only and our prices are extremely competitive since we are fairly new to the Bend area. Our services start at 1G/1G and also come with a dedicated support rep so you can have the convenience of calling directly into the same person for any service needs or questions.

I will be more than happy to send you pricing if you are interested. My direct line is (541) 610-3936 and my email is janie@fatbeam.com

    Hope we’re able to connect!

  4. Philip says:

Absolutely agree. Being able to upload large files in a timely manner is important for many different industries (Web Development, Live Streaming, Podcasting, Video Creation, to name a few) not to mention being able to have cloud backups for my important data.

The very fastest upload BBB offers is 20 Mbps, and that’s at their 1 Gbps plan. Where I moved from, I had 50 Mbps upload, without ridiculous price. Not to mention the data caps.

  5. William says:

I need fast reliable internet with upload speeds that are on par with download speeds.
