Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy facility receives reaccreditation

Bend Memorial Clinic’s (BMC) Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy facility received reaccreditation from the Undersea & Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS).

UHMS accreditation means that the department has met the highest standards of care and patient safety through rigorous evaluation of the adequacy of the facility, equipment, staff and training to ensure that the utmost quality is maintained within the specialty.

BMC was the first healthcare facility in Oregon to be awarded accreditation for Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy by the UHMS. All hyperbaric physicians are fully trained in hyperbaric medicine and the medical director, Dr. Robert Pinnick, is board certified in Hyperbaric Medicine.  All full-time staff are certified Hyperbaric Technologists.
