The 2015 Legislative Session has adjourned and the dust is settling, but important public policy issues are already surfacing for the 2016 Session and general election. Associated Oregon Industries (AOI) needs your point of view on the challenges facing your business’ every day, in order to provide an effective voice for business.
On Oct. 8, from 7:30 – 9 a.m., AOI will hold a free forum in Bend at The Riverhouse Convention Center to connect with the business community. This forum, one of many being held throughout the state, will be an opportunity for participants to:
- Identify specific ways to support job growth in different parts of Oregon
- Discuss recently-passed legislation, asking: What works? What needs to be changed?
- Consider the upcoming 2016 Legislative Session and General Election
- Explore ways to enhance the business community’s impact on statewide policy development
The outcome of these forums will be put to immediate use as AOI builds policies and priorities for 2016, and works with our partner business associations to create lasting economic growth in communities around the state.
