95.7 My FM named Oregon Radio Station of the Year

95.7 MY FM (KLTW-FM) has been named 2015 Oregon Radio Station of the Year by the Oregon Association of Broadcasters.  The announcement was made during OAB Day at the Capitol on March 1, 2016.

“This is a terrific honor for our staff and we are humbled that 95.7 MY FM has been selected by the Oregon Association of Broadcasters as Radio Station of the Year,” said Keith Shipman, president and CEO of Horizon Broadcasting Group.  “95.7 MY FM air personalities Jeffrey Brian Nelson, Tavis Buchan, Lauren Green and John Tesh have done a sensational job connecting with the Central Oregon community.  We’re grateful to our listeners and for the opportunity to help our customers grow their business through effective marketing campaigns.”

This marks the third time in the past decade that a Horizon Broadcasting Group radio station has earned this honor.  KLTW-FM (2015) joins KQAK-FM (2006) and KWPK-FM – The Peak 104.1 (2007) as Oregon Radio Station of the Year.

Bend’s Best Variety 95.7 MY FM is Central Oregon’s Adult Contemporary radio station.  Robin Fox is the station’s program director.

Horizon Broadcasting Group stations received five more awards from the OAB in 2015.  KLTW-FM also earned honors for Best Public Service Campaign – Radio (Boys & Girls Club Radiothon) and Best Public Service Project – Radio (Boys & Girls Club Radiothon), while sister station News Radio 104.5/1340 KBNW received the award for Best Newscast – Radio and Best Uniquely “Oregon” Program Produced by Station – Radio (“Inside Central Oregon”).  Horizon Broadcasting Group’s community news web portal – – was honored for Best Use of Digital Media – Radio.

The 2015 OAB Awards for Excellence program was judged by the Nebraska Association of Broadcasters.
