Step & Spine Physical Therapy co-founder and lead physical therapist, Barrett Ford, PT, announced that Jolene Kjorstad, PT, DPT has begun seeing clients at its Redmond clinic.
Jolene received her Bachelor of Science at the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Pacific University, Forest Grove, Oregon. Jolene is also certified as an athletic trainer. Prior to moving to Bend, Jolene was the manager of Physical Therapy in Fall River Mills, California, where she had the opportunity to offer outpatient as well as inpatient and long-term care.
Jolene enjoys treating all diagnoses, but “the elderly have a special place in my heart” she says. The philosophy of compassion and love for all patients are the reasons she choose Step & Spine Physical Therapy.
“There is more quality time with the patients, as well as time to consult with other practitioners, offering patients the best care and treatment plans possible” she explains.
Jolene also appreciates the opportunities for continued education and the encouragement to obtain additional certifications.
Jolene is a mother of two girls and enjoys spending time with her girls outdoors. She is an avid hiker, runner, but also values time to just relax.
