Noelle Fredland is the marketing director at the Old Mill District. She works on all aspects of the Old Mill brand; marketing strategy, creative director, media buying, large events, sponsorships and charitable giving. The Old Mill District is an economic powerhouse for retail, dining and entertainment.
After graduating from Marquette University, Fredland spent time in Colorado working at the Colorado Outdoor Education Center and then as a raft guide and a restaurant manager in Snowmass. Leaving Snowmass to travel in Central America, Fredland worked in a dive shop in Costa Rica before returning to the states to manage a Patagonia store in Atlanta, Georgia.
Fredland’s career took her to the Patagonia store in Santa Monica and she then went on to open an independent climbing store with her husband, Rick Fredland in Pasadena, CA. Four years later, she was off to manage an Orvis store and the Fredland’s embarked on their own entrepreneurial dog products business Tazlab. Having their own business allowed the Fredland’s to relocate their family and business to Bend in 2007. With two kids, a dog and a leopard gecko, Noelle and her family love to get out and enjoy beautiful Bend as much as possible.
Fredland serves on the advisory board for Caldera, the Bend Cultural Tourism Fund Commission, OPB Ambassador, kitchen advisory committee for Silipint and former Visit Bend Board Member.
