Many changes have occurred and key decisions are pending. Discussion will include important labor areas that could affect budgets, specifically, possible new guidelines for exempt status.
This presentation will cover new Oregon laws and regulations from the 2016 Oregon legislative sessions, new federal laws and regulations (including the new Fair Labor Standards Act salary requirements and who they apply to), employment-related state, federal and US Supreme Court decisions from the 2015-2016 session, and new National Labor Relations Board decisions affecting employers.
Speaker Katherine Tank, Tank Law, has over 25 years of experience successfully representing employers in labor and employment matters.
