Business seminar to explain unclaimed property reporting

Area businesses and organizations are invited to learn more about reporting unclaimed property to the state at a half-day seminar on June 18.

The seminar will be held from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Deschutes County Building on NW Wall Street in the DeArmond Room.

Unclaimed property is lost financial assets such as uncashed payroll checks and abandoned financial accounts that a business or organization holds for an unreachable party.
