Bend Area Habitat to hold information session for their Partnership Program Toward Homeownership in Bend

Join Bend Area Habitat for Humanity on June 29 at 5:30 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church on NE Ninth Street for an information session that will educate families and individuals interested in applying for the Partnership Program Toward Homeownership.

For more than 26 years, Bend Area Habitat has built and renovated 107 affordable homes serving low-income families in Bend and Crook Co. These homes have been sold to individuals and families with a 0 percent mortgage. By providing affordable housing to low-income families, families are realizing an annual savings, on average, between $5,000-$6,000 which can be reinvested into the community; this totals between $645,000-$774,000.
