Justin Livingston is running for the Bend City Council because he believes the city can do a better job of addressing the problems of all the residents of Bend. Many Bend residents are struggling with our increasing cost of living and stagnant wages, but too often the issues that impact them are ignored. Justin served on the city’s street maintenance funding committee, and recommended against the city spending $54,000 to hold a special election on a regressive gas tax.
Justin is passionate about making Bend an affordable place to live and to raise a family. He is a member of the city’s Affordable Housing Committee, where he works on policies to make Bend a more affordable place to live.
Most importantly, Justin is committed to listening to the residents of Bend about their ideas for making Bend an even better place to live, for all of us.
