J DUB opened their doors for lunch and dinner on March 7 in the historic Shaw Building at 932 NW Bond Street. The fast, casual, family-friendly restaurant features American comfort food, a full bar and a professionally-trained staff.
J DUB’s debut menu includes dishes such as house-made soups paired with grilled cheese, pot roast dip and all-natural Fulton Farms Oregon beef cheeseburgers and locally-sourced products as much as possible. Prices will range from $7 for a burger and fries to $14 for a soft shelled crab Louie salad. Bar patrons will find a full selection of beer, including six Bend breweries rotating on tap, as well as wine and signature cocktails accompanied by fun snacks like fried pickle chips and house-made deviled eggs. Along with local beers, J DUB also promotes local spirits.

J DUB’s owner and working founder is Jon Weber, former bar manager with 10 Barrel Brewing. Danny Davis joins as J DUB’s general manager along with Nate Montgomery who is the restaurant’s first head chef. An additional 35 employees were on board for opening day.
