WHAT: Two nights of inspirational documentary films with themes of exploring cultures, preserving environments and promoting adventure. The event showcases the very best of Telluride Mountainfilm Festival, an annual film festival in Colorado with a mission of “celebrating indomitable spirit.” Each night will feature different films!
Proceeds from the event will benefit The Environmental Center, a local non-profit organization that works to embed sustainability into daily life in Central Oregon. The Environmental Center helps people live, work, play and learn in ways that will ensure a healthy future for people and the planet.
“Mountainfilm always stimulates great conversations, at the event and afterwards,” said Mike Riley, executive director of The Environmental Center. “The mix of adventure and culture from around the globe is a great fit for Bend and we’re excited to be bringing it back for the 13th year.”
The event includes a raffle sponsored by Skjersaa’s, Mountain Supply and other local businesses with prizes that include a pair of skis each night, outdoor gear and additional prize packages. Raffle tickets will be sold each night at the event.
