Chef Bette Fraser, owner of The Well Traveled Fork, is dedicated to bringing local and organic food to all aspects of life in Central Oregon.
“We are very excited to begin to offer culinary birthday parties for kids,” Fraser said. “People have been asking for it and we are now in a position to offer it.”
The company has been growing steadily for the six years it has been open, and is finding more ways to connect with the community, in particular, the youth.
The themed parties are structured so parents do little and kids participate to the maximum. Parties can accommodate 10 children and cover topics such as sushi, baking and pizza. There is something for every budding gourmet.
Parties are held at Widgi Creek Golf Club House, 18707 SW Century Drive, Bend. Parents are welcome to play a round of gold or visit the in-house spa while the parties are in session in the fully equipped commercial kitchen.
Parties will be available year round and will feature seasonal and local products. Children will have an entirely interactive and hands on experience surrounded by their close friends. They will come away with valuable kitchen skills and full bellies. There will be a variety of party packages available, one for every age and preference.
