To accommodate the increased number of registration requests, City Club was inspired to find a larger venue. Capacity at the St. Charles Health and Wellness Center, where City Club has held its forums since its inception in 2007, is 224 occupants. The convention center at The Riverhouse has the capacity, staff and technology to provide a professional level of service. The new space will provide forums with a spacious environment, ample parking and a more comfortable ambiance.
Other changes include:
- Lunches will be plated. Vegetarian and gluten free selections will be available to accommodate dietary restrictions. Please make your selection during the forum registration process.
- Forums will continue to be held the third Thursday of each month. However, since The Riverhouse books events up to a year in advance, they already have an event scheduled during the time of our April forum. The date for the April forum will be Monday, April 18, 2016 at St. Charles.
- To cover the increase in costs of City Club forums, forum registration fees will be increasing. Member price will be $25 and non-member price will be $40. The annual membership fees remain the same as they’ve been, so the only increase is to the lunch fees.
- Forum registration closes at noon on the Monday before each forum. Due to the plated lunch format, City Club will no longer be able to accept registrations past that time.
