Ballots for the 2016 Bend Chamber Board of Directors are on their way to the membership. Each business that is a member, will receive one ballot for the election and is asked to vote. All ballots are due back to the Bend Chamber by Oct. 23 by 12 p.m.

Members of the Bend Chamber Board of Directors represent the interests of your business and our community.

Here are the nominees:

Ellyn Biedscheid – Ellyn is the CFO at Hydro Flask. She is responsible for finance, information systems, legal and HR activities. Ellyn joined Hydro Flask in November 2011, bringing over 15 years of experience in financial controls, accounting and process improvement.

“I would like to join the Bend Chamber Board because I would love the opportunity to share my skills and background to continue to make Central Oregon a great place to live and work.”

Heather J. Hansen – Heather is a shareholder at the law firm of Bryant Lovlien & Jarvis.  She practices in the areas of business law, employment law and real estate law.  Heather has served on multiple boards throughout her career including serving on the Bend Chamber Board of Directors for the last three years.

“I am both personally and professionally dedicated to helping the business community in Central Oregon.  The Bend Chamber is one of the critical organizations that strategically works to gather, equip and mobilize the business community in our area.  I look forward to the opportunity to serve another term as a member of the board of directors.”

Results of the election will be tabulated by Bend Chamber President and CEO Tim Casey and Nominating Committee Chair Brian Fratzke. The newly elected directors will take office on Jan. 1, 2016.
