The Bend City Council has a goal to create and recommend to the public a funding option package for street maintenance to improve the City’s pavement condition index. The Council recently voted to create a committee to review street maintenance funding options.
The Council is seeking representatives from nine community stakeholder organizations as well as one at-large position and one position that represents a small business owner reliant on fuel consumption.
Anyone who would like to apply for the at-large or business owner position should complete an application and return it to Robyn Christie, City Recorder, firstname.lastname@example.org, no later than Aug.31.
Applications can be found on the www.bendoregon.gov/committees webpage, at the bottom where it says “advisory committee application” or in the attached document, or at City Hall, 710 NW Wall Street in Bend.
For more information, the city council resolution that resulted in this committee can be found here or in the attached document.
