At this year’s San Francisco World Spirits Competition, Oregon Spirit Distillers won not one, but two Double Gold medals. The Ottis Webber Wheat Whiskey and J. Becher American Rye Whiskey were each awarded the highest honor of Double Gold. This award classifies Oregon Spirit Distillers’ whiskeys as “outstanding,” and indicates they received the highest remarks from all judges.
Ottis Webber Wheat Whiskey is a unique, sweet, slightly spicy, three-year aged American whiskey made with wheat, rye and malted barley from Central Oregon. J. Becher American Rye Whiskey is an incredibly smooth, 100 percent rye American whiskey, aged for four years.
The San Francisco World Spirits Competition is known as “the most influential and respected spirits competition in the world.” The international competition features thousands of distilleries from around the world, including the top producing and distributing distilleries.
