Oregon’s businesses know first-hand how health care costs, left unattended, will have a significant impact on all Oregonians. The business community has been taking a more proactive role in health care discussions and reforms over the last decade to ensure we have a viable business community and a state budget that is not consumed by health care spending, allowing for other investments critical to Oregon’s future.
Associated Oregon Industries, the Oregon Business Council, and the Oregon Business Association are updating the Oregon Business Plan’s health care strategies. And we need to hear from Oregon’s employers – all sizes and all sectors!
Please take a moment to fill out the survey. Because we want to accurately reflect the experiences of all of Oregon’s businesses, we particularly need to hear from small businesses across our state whose experiences are different from our larger corporations.
Even if you do not currently offer health insurance to your employees, please fill out the attached survey. Your perspective is valuable.
The survey asks for basic data about your business and experience with health insurance, as well as health reform issues. It will be particularly helpful if the person who completes this survey for your company has detailed knowledge of the current health benefit offerings for your workforce. Please plan to complete the survey by October 16.
We know that your schedule is busy so we appreciate your time. We estimate that the survey will take 20 minutes to complete. Thank you for lending your voice to the next Oregon Business Plan!
