The Family Access Network (FAN) is pleased to announce that services will begin at Barnes Butte and Crooked River elementary schools in Prineville.
This is the first time FAN advocates have been available outside of Deschutes County. FAN advocates will be available half time in each school to connect families to basic-need resources such as food, shelter, clothing, utilities and more.
Families in need of assistance with children at either elementary school may contact the school directly to connect with the FAN advocate. Vanessa Nolen is the new Crooked River Elementary FAN advocate and is available from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. every day at 541-447-5189 ex.333. Shari Burke, the new Barnes Butte Elementary FAN advocate, can be reached from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. each school day at 541-416-4150 ext. 3603.
