ASI (Advisory Services & Investments), a local and regional investment advisory firm, recently made a donation to Central Oregon Veteran’s Ranch (COVR), on behalf of the firm’s employees who chose the community non-profit to receive the funds.
Each year, through a fund launched by ASI president Randy Miller as a benefit to his employees, staff members from Oregon and Seattle offices are given an opportunity to research and choose local charitable organizations to receive funds on behalf of the organization.
This year, ASI employees voted on and chose COVR to receive a $1,500 donation. Located between Bend and Redmond, the 19-acre ranch property is a working ranch that restores purpose and spirit to veterans of all ages. Veterans are actively planning sustainable agriculture projects including the raising and preserving of the threatened Navajo Churro sheep and gardens that will feed veterans receiving care at the ranch.
“We value the business and personal relationships we have with our communities and are thrilled to have an opportunity to give back,” said ASI Director of Operations Sue Studwell. “We are especially proud that our own firm entrusts us to invest in deserving organizations.”
